We connect via Google Calendar OAuth and only read meeting metadata — never your email body, Drive files, or Docs. OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest. You can revoke access from your Google account at any time.

Do I need a Google Workspace account to use this?

No. Zynapse Meet works with personal Gmail accounts and any Google Meet call on your calendar. You do not need a Workspace license or the Gemini add-on.
Does the bot need Google Workspace admin approval?

For personal Gmail accounts, no. For Workspace accounts, your admin's OAuth scope policy determines whether you can grant calendar access yourself. If admin consent is required for external apps, we provide a verification URL your IT team can approve once.
Is there a free notetaker for Google Meet?

Will other attendees see the bot in the Meet call?

Does the Meet host need to admit the bot from the lobby?

If your Meet has 'host management' on, the host admits the bot like any other external guest. Most calendar-invited bots are admitted automatically. Bots stuck in the lobby are auto-retried.
Does Zynapse Meet record Google Meet calls, or just transcribe?

Both — full audio recording plus a timestamped transcript with speaker labels. Recording retention depends on your plan tier.
Can I use this alongside Google Gemini for Meet?
