OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest with envelope encryption. We never request mailbox or file-content scopes — only the meeting metadata and chat-posting permissions listed above. You can revoke access from your Microsoft account at any time.

Do I need Microsoft Teams Premium or Microsoft 365 Copilot to use this?

No. Zynapse Meet works with any Teams meeting on your calendar — including the free Teams tier. The bot joins as a regular participant via the meeting's join URL, so no Premium or Copilot license is required.
Does the bot need IT admin approval to join Teams meetings?

For personal Outlook accounts, no. For M365 work accounts, your tenant's admin consent policy determines whether you can grant the calendar and chat scopes yourself. If admin consent is required, we provide a consent URL your IT team can approve once for the org.
Is there a free notetaker for Microsoft Teams?

Will other attendees see the bot in the Teams meeting?

Where does the meeting summary end up?

Does it record Teams meetings, or just transcribe them?

Both — full audio recording plus a timestamped transcript with speaker labels. Recording retention depends on your plan; transcripts are kept indefinitely while your account is active.
Can I use this alongside Microsoft Copilot for Teams?

Yes. They don't conflict. Some teams use Copilot for the Teams-native recap and Zynapse Meet for the live in-call answers and knowledge-base search, which Copilot doesn't do today.
What's the difference between this and Otter or Fireflies for Teams?
